Moving your Mountains

What do you believe? Why do we believe it? How can we obtain faith? How can we increase our faith? Which of the following are more important to the building up of our faith?
Miracles? Visions? The Bible? Dreams? Feelings? Although miracles, visions, dreams, and feelings can help us in our faith walk, these cannot do for us what God's Word can do. We must base our convictions and faith upon the Word of God. We stand on the Authority of God's Word. The promises of God are greater than any pill of the doctor. Real faith in God is greater than the surgeon's knife.
There are many kinds of medicines that will treat our symptoms, and even help us feel better for a time, but they will not get to the cause of our ailment, and they will not cure us.
Christians who study the Word of God until it causes faith to rise up can be victorious over the devil, sickness, sin, circumstances and worry.

We all have our mountains in our lives at times, that when faced with them we become doubtful because we see the size of them and think all of the impossibilities. All we need to remember is that through Christ we are strengthened as we can do all things through Him, just as all power was given to Him in heaven and in earth.

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Matthew 28:18
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."

Knowing that Jesus has all power given unto Him in heaven and in earth, we are also given power to overcome the trials in this world and defeating our enemies. We are told we have the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy! Those who are believers in Jesus Christ have all authority over satan, and satan knows that and is fearful of us! Those who don't have Christ in their life are fearful of satan and see him in a different perspective because of the absence of Christ.
Luke 10:19
"Behold, i give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

With God's power on our side, we can overcome anything that comes our way, as long as we look to Christ and lean on Him. He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. He keeps His promises as long as we keep ours (reading, living and abiding in His Word).

Hebrews 13:5
"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

The Lord understands what we go through and gives us all of the instruments we need to move or even climb our mountains. He in fact told us to be of good cheer because just as He overcame the world, we can also!

John 16:33
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; i have overcome the world."

Don't look at the mountain, but focus of Jesus! He knows the way and will help you to overcome all of the obstacles that come your way.

T'was Blind, But now I See

‘Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see..’
**Before an individual comes to Christ they are blind by the world, and do things that don’t pertain to the word of God. But once they receive the truth and see the path Jesus has set out for them, from their broken state they accept the Lord fully in their heart and become a changed person. In order for us to go to heaven, we must be born again, removing the old man (sins & lifestyle of the world) and putting on the New (living & abiding in the Word of God).**
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 4:22-24
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
**In the passage below is a perfect example of someone that was truly blind in his sins, even to the point of persecuting the Christians for the name of Jesus Christ. But along the way, as he was going to cause more grief for the Christians, God had another plan….
Acts 9:1-31
And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. 8And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
Ananias Baptizes Saul
10And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. 13Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. 17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
Saul Preaches Christ at Damascus
20And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God. 21But all that heard himwere amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests? 22But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
Saul Escapes from Damascus
23And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him: 24But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him. 25Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
Saul in Jerusalem
26And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. 27But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. 28And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem. 29And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him. 30Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
31Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

**Reading from Acts 9, we see the traumatic change in Paul (formally known as Saul), when Christ spoke to his heart. He not only was blind spiritually, but Jesus made him blind physically which brought his ego down a couple notches. In this experience, he took note of everything he had done and knew the truth was right in front of him and couldn’t deny it. Many who knew him, was fearful and doubted that he indeed changed, thinking it was impossible because of the excessive pain he brought upon the Lord’s children. But as he grew stronger in the Lord and witnessed to people, they truly saw a blind man receive his sight. **

Acts 26:4-18
“My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews; 5Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 6And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers: 7Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. 8Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?9I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.10Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them11And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.12Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, 13At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. 14And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 15And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;17Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

Letting Go and Letting God take over

The fight within yourself:
You: “How can I overcome this?”, “How will this work?”, “Maybe this will pass and smooth over soon…but how?”
That strong steady Voice: Nothing and nobody is greater than God!
You: but there seems to be a lot going on. How can this get any better?
Voice: Call on me and I will take this heavy load that you are carrying!
You: oh, why is this happening to me?!
Voice/God: Let go and Trust in me! Don’t forget that it was through my power behind Moses’ staff that parted the Red Sea and led my people out of Pharaoh’s captivity! The power and strength behind David’s stone that conquered the Philistine, Goliath! The same hand that closed the mouth of the lions in the den where Daniel was placed by his wicked adversaries! Haven’t I proved enough of how I’ve taken care of my people?! Don’t you think I would take care of you?! Trust in me and lean not on your own understanding but look to the living Word that I have given you and these things you are experiencing will pass and you shall be an overcomer and a conqueror through me!
Romans 8:31
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Romans 8:37
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
Living in this world we have come upon this wall that blocks us from overcoming the trials that come your way. Though, in this journey that we are in, there is that still strong voice that is there at your side that won’t give up on you. He shakes you, brings you back in focus of what your purpose is, and why you were called to be a Soldier of Christ! God has shown throughout the WHOLE Bible that He has the Power and ability to do ANYTHING and wouldn’t desert His people! So being a child of God, we seek His word and use that as motivation to get through the pitfalls of life and grow closer to Him.
Hebrews 13:5
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
At times when we face the toughest battles, we find ourselves becoming our biggest enemy by putting ourselves down and watering down the victory that so ever is waiting on the other side of that wall.
Mark 11:23
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Jesus tells us that through Him we shall receive peace, because though in life we face pain and grief, He has endured the cross and has overcame the world, and we shall also overcome this wicked world when we place Him in front of us leading the way!
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The Case for Christ

"The Case for Christ: Documentary” is a movie that takes us on a journey in the discovery of Lee Strobel’s founding faith in Jesus Christ. He shared his whole experience from his mind set as a formally known atheist to the now strong believer of one that knows Christ and has accepted Him in his heart.
If you are interested in watching the movie for yourself, you can watch this movie through (Pureflix- A Christian Movie Streaming Subscription) or by purchasing it on Amazon. The book that the movie is based off of, can also be purchased on Amazon as well as your local Christian book store.*

Through this whole experience as it is for all who found Jesus, it all revolves around the Word of God and the facts behind everything there is to know about the Truth/Jesus Christ!

1    --  For those who are atheist, are known as individuals who have no belief in the existence of a higher power, most notably; God. How does that come about? How does one become an atheist?
There are many instances to where one claims themselves as an atheist: either one who hasn’t been introduced to the Word of God to begin with or through pain & grief of life that has occurred for an individual, led them to reject the idea of there being any existence of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

2    --   Everyone in this world is given the opportunity to discover the truth through their own eyes, and what their heart believes when receiving the truth of Jesus.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

 John 6:68-69
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Acts 8:26-39And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.29Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. 30And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.32The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:33In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.34And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here iswater; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”

3      -- Faith is built on hearing the Word of God

Romans 10:17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

If you are currently in the cross roads of your life, with figuring your purpose and finding the truth, please look through God’s Word and let it be the road map of your life by inviting Jesus into your heart. Once you open the door of knowledge it will change your life completely and turn your life around.

Romans 10:9-10That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Parable of the Rich Man and the Beggar

Luke 16:19-31

“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

**So many times you hear in stories of the underdog that finally got their day of glory and the one that was over them gloating, finally received their day of misery and faced the consequences of their actions. Well in this parable speaks of a rich man that had everything he can think of upon the earth, and was very proud of what he had accomplished. But in his accomplishments he had a hard heart, having no compassion upon the poor man Lazarus who didn’t have even the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table. Though Lazarus didn’t have much upon the earth, He had an abundant of blessings In paradise when he passed away, where the rich man was down in hell with nothing but pain and regret.

This is exactly what we face today through the decisions that we make every day. Will you carry your treasures upon the earth or will you obtain them in heaven? In order for us to go to heaven, we must be born again (John 3:3) and met for our master’s use. How do we do that? By confessing of your sins (Romans 10:9-10) and allowing Jesus to take control of your entire life, and for you to plant yourself upon the strong foundation for you to stand. When you build your house (we are the temple/building) upon the rock (Jesus) as we are to trust fully in him we can make it through the toughest storms that come at us. **

John 3:3

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Romans 10:9-10

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Building your house upon the rock(Jesus), not upon the sand (world)

Matthew 7:24-27

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Proverbs 12:3

“A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.”

Proverbs 12:7

“The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.”

**If you would like to give your heart to Jesus today, repeat these words below:

'Dear Heavenly Father,i come to in the name of Jesus; Forgive me a sinner and wash me in your precious blood. Make this heart of stone to be made flesh, so that your word may be sown in it. Any addictions that i may have, remove them now in Jesus name! I've accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and believe that He died and rose from the dead! And from this day forward, i commit my life to you and seek for guidance and understanding in your word, as i walk in your path of righteousness, In Jesus name i pray, AMEN!!!'

If you have recited these words and meant them in your heart, you are saved and if the Lord would come today, you will be ready to go to Heaven!! I will keep you all in prayer, to continue to walk in the ways of Jesus Christ our Lord. READ, PRAY, SEEK and TRUST in Him and you will overcome this wicked world! **

I have also provided a link to the Full Gospel Holiness Church below, where you will find sermons from the word of God (no comprising to sin) but the Full truth to the Word of God! You can also view our contact information to email us or call us for prayer. May God bless you!

What does it take to become a Christian?

How do we become a Christian? there is no secret in knowing the truth that will set you free from sin. Understanding right and wrong is easy. What we need to understand is making the choice to live Godly and holy for the Lord.
First let's look into what makes us a non-Christian believer. And the answer is sin. What is sin? It's the wrong that we do that the Lord Jesus Christ has reviled in the word of God. What started the sin was disobedient to God in which caused us to choose options to right and wrong. This created a direction for temptation to do the oppose to right. This began sin. Satan deceived the very first humans in the world called Adam & Eve. Adam & Eve only knew the right, because God made them a living soul, and blessed them with the earth. What caused Adam & Eve to fall into the temptation of sin?
The Forbidden Fruit that started the sin in this world
Genesis 2:15-17 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Satan tempted Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit.

The Serpent's Deception
 Genesis 3:1-7
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
We all were born into this world as sinner
Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
I Timothy 2:14-15 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death,
so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
The lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is of the world
I John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Keeping ourselves unspotted from the world takes prayer, and always reading the bible.
We all were born into this world as sinner
Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
What is our first steps to becoming a Christian?
1. Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
2. Be sorry for all the sins that you have done
Romans 10:9 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
3. Leave your old past sin on the cross after you've repent and return no more to your old ways.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
4. Go to a church that is preaching the true word of God, and always read your bible and, pray every day, for you and, others that you may know.
5. Always believe in faith through Jesus Christ our Lord that all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
6. We must be saved in order for us to enter into heaven
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ Loves you dearly
